PEASMA, San Miguel, sponsors the film premiere of "Los Que Se Quedan" at Teatro Angela Peralta with an exhibit and cocktail party-- a worthwhile fundraiser. The film is subtitled in English, about the plight of some Mexican families living in the U.S.

VIP Club participating restaurant, The Restaurant, Sollano #16, on Sunday, December 13, 4-7 in an effort to help Don Bosco Orphanage, is presenting "sabores" (Your Taste) San Miguel de Allende. Twelve wine distributors, five local food producers and five local chefs will mix things up and offer a cornacopia of tasty delights in food and wine. Donation for admission is $150 pesos.

Harry's New Orleans Cafe and Oyster Bar, Hidalgo,#12,  wants members to know, no reason to worry about getting a parking spot in Centro during the holidays, free valet parking when frequenting Harry's. Also, remember, both Saturday and Sundays, 10- 2 p.m. great brunch, many selections, very reasonable VIP Club Card accepted.

Back by popular demand, Market Bistro is again showing classic films in their small intimate theater that seats 19 and has a great sound system. Look for classic flicks being shown seven days a week. We just have listings up to Thursday and Friday this week and the films are Thursday, December 10, The Maltese Falcon at 5 p.m. and 7:30. Congrats to Harry's former bartender, Jose Luis, who's just taken over as new management at VIP Club participating restaurant El Manantial Catina, on the corner Baranca and Huertes. Look for some new items on the menu. Your card is still welcomed at this neighborhood cantina.
