Eighty-seven members took advantage of the exclusive deal BajioGo Transportation offered our membership. Over 10,000 US dollars in free shuttles were generously given to our membership! Luis Madragon, owner of BiajoGo, said it was the greatest response to any promotion he has ever been involved with during his entire career! He asked us to personally thank the membership and we wish to thank Luis and John Eckrote as we embark on a new relationship with BajioGo. Look for additional deals for VIP Club members in the near future stemming from BajioGo.

Some members might be aware of the new tax laws in Mexico especially those dealing with small businesses. Many seasoned accountants have been absolutely wrong with their advice to clients.

The new tax program set up by the Mexican government will take 10 years to reach full fruition. Beginning next January businesses like ours will then be responsible to collect part of the 16% IVA tax, (estimated at 10% of the 16% tax per year) The hits will come gradually over the said period.Your Card cost remain 500 for new members and 400 for renewals as long as they adhere to 45 day rule. (thank you!)

Get ready to party and strut your stuff. Hank's, Leeezianna Cafe and Oyster Bar, once again, keeping the tradition of the Crescent City celebrates Mardi Gras this year from February 28 until Fat Tuesday, March 4! Everyday promotions during the Mardi Gras to eat and drink up. VIP Club members Mark and Rachel Satterfield are this year's Mari Gras, King and Queen. Oh, yeah, that goofy parade will take place on Hidalgo Street, Tuesday, March 4 at 6:25 p.m. or something like that and don't blink, because this parade only lasts a half a block! . . . Grow Down, if not for Mardi Gras, and go have fun!

Yikes, the new VIP Club brochure is out, at all of our satellite locations, just one thing, we somehow screwed up and have the wrong phone # on the brochure for La Brassere, Jesus #11. The proper phone is 152-3161, yet this gives us a chance to tell the members that Billy Parker plays his guitar and signs great songs each Wednesday evening and then, Thursdays and Fridays, Kate and Rolando play. The vibes are great as is the food and music.

Do you need to transfer your foreign plates for Mexico plates? Ask VIP Club participating business person, Soni Diaz how you do it! Motorhomes, cars, SUV's, boats, motorcycles can be nationalized and your vehicle does not leave your property:, or go to the menu above and click on "Other Discounts!"

Your Club recently heard from La Puertecita Boutique Hotel's Mirasol Restaurant. La Puertecita is a charter VIP Club participating restaurant. They have altered their hours: Sunday to Thursday. 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Breakfast and Lunch.) Friday and Saturday. 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.) Mirasol's traditional Sunday brunch and BBQ have been suspended for the time being, yet their generous 20% off when paying cash and 15% off when paying with a credit card for members are still in vogue.

VIP Club member and generous talented dude, Michael Sudheer, once again sings for charity! This go around, Sudheer will belt out the Broadway songs of famous songwriter Stephen Sondheim with his performances titled, "Michael Sudheer returns to Broadway!" For the line up of dates and various charities that Michael intends to raise monies for at Arthur Murray Dance Studio/Bale' Cafe's location do view the attached poster! Psst! We heard it from a guy in a trench coat, with his hat down under his eyes and who talked out the side of his mouth, "Berlin, you know the German joint on Umaran! Right now it's hush-hush! They're gonna have some new stuff on the menu next week. Don't-tell-nobody-you-heard-it-from-me!"

Keith swears it's up and running, that's the new Roadhouse BBQ pit, a bit before the entrance to Los Frailes on the road to Celaya. Same kind of ribs and brisket and whole shebang, same as Longhorn BBQ Smokehouse. They're still on a shakedown cruise and open from around Noon till it begins to get dark.

The "buy your VIP Club Card at the Library the month of February" has been extended until March 15th. We don't text! We don't mail chimp! Your Club is old hat, yet texting is a big deal to lots of folks and probably to many of our members. Our Linda Curran sent in s link that she felt some club members might find interesting:

We heard from Your Club's trusted veterinarian and card carrying member, Rodrigo Garibay. Rodrigo is primarily working out of the Dusty Pet Spa, Guadiana #17A.
