    A flash or two back Your Club announced some subtle changes in our discount insurance program for national and foreign plated autos and cycles etc. and homeowner policies. (See the attachment in that News edition for update in rates for members!)

     The Restaurant, Sollano #16, features a guest chef  Marco Moran, Spanish Michelin Star Chef, June 6, 7th and 8th! The meal is a special suckling pig feast, 800 pesos per or 1,200 including wine.

     Your Club heard from VIP Club members Warren and Tuli Harding: Warren Hardy Spanish offers some special upcoming classes beginning June 10th! “We are offering a VIP Club member discount, for the June 10-26 sessions $75 USD off the LEVEL II COURSE. The tuition then would be $195 US. Plus $50 off, the Famous “STORYTELLING” Course taught by Rocio! Pre-registration for Storytelling is a must as enrollment is limited to 8 students in class.

     At VIP Club participating restaurant OKO, they are going to have some noodling parties each and every Friday night beginning at 9:30 p.m. D.J. Tim will play everything from German techno, to 70s reggae to be-bop-shu-wop for a true get down. Consider going.

     VIP Club member Carmen Hecht is returning to SMA representing Zen-tir, a Mexican company to give a talk about aroma-therapy oils helpful for many maladies including lost sleep. The talk takes place Wednesday, June 12, at Fabrica la Aurora, in Marilo Carral’s Gallery, at 4 pm. Carmen can also be reached at: 333-808-1483.

     Consider penciling in and attending Sabores San Miguel, a food festival, at Parque Juárez, June 14, 15 & 16. ALL food and drinks will be 20 pesos! There will be demos and talks, live music and kids’ activities. Friday: "Inauguration" 6-10 pm. Saturday: "Gourmet Food" 12-8 pm., Sunday: "Street Food from the World" 12 - 6 pm. Intermediate-Advanced Spanish Grammar, Vocabulary, and Mexican Culture . .  Also, MEXICAN CULTURE 205 Seminars offered in English at The Lab,  Cafe Contento, Ongoing, every 1-2 months, 2 Thursdays, 9:30 am. – 2 pm.      Your VIP Club has heard from member Beverly Nelson: “LifePath Center has found a new home! Rinconada de la Aldea #29, on the passage behind Cafe Monet, opening at new location, August 1, 2013. We will be ready to welcome all our friends, customers and guests there. We will be holding a fundraising campaign to help us create and design this new space; stay tuned for the future announcements .Our new home features a multipurpose room for events and classes; beautiful practitioner offices; a guest house with four-rooms; terraces and patios.       Locally raised San Miguel girl Claudette Walls Manllo, a quality person, who with study and hard work was accepted into New School University, attended for four years, graduated and then went to work for the United Nations in New York City. Claudette has earned some well-earned leave, to come back home for a bit this summer. Claudette desires a house-sitting gig and will be in SMA from July 8th until August 31. Some might remember Claudette as a friendly pretty face who worked some time ago at Berlin. She’s local, totally bilingual and responsible. (
