VIP Club San Miguel: "The Smart Fit"

Radio Free San Miguel

March 03, 2011

First a message about attachments here on your news flashes verses longer copy: In an effort to cut down on the length of these flashes, and despite the fact we like to provide Club members info germane to the Club, in the last two flashes we had a significant number of attachments.

Feedback says, on the most part, members aren't that wild about attachments with many are reluctant to even bother open them and a good number have stated they prefer news flashes that sometimes turn out to be relatively wordy. We've decided to keep attachments to a minimum. The attachment "Recently added restaurants and other discounts" will remain! This attachment enables those who may have missed info in previous flashes about new restaurants and other services offering discounts to our membership. It's fairer to the newer establishments too who get a second crack at gaining the membership's attention. Attachments we sense are essential or about events with colored graphics and various size font also will remain.

A bit about Chapala Medical. Seems our plug for Chapala didn't stir the membership as much as they desired to as to have them ringing their phones off the hooks. Your Club thinks this could be a great service especially for those whose Spanish language skills are weak and may be in need of medical help etc.

So here is the deal. For a limited time period of time, any valid VIP Club member who would like to speak to an M.D. in native-tongue-English, about any medical problem, you're entitled to "one free consultation." You got an itch and want to talk to a doctor, call Chapala, a pain somewhere, call Chapala! Anything medical, call Chapala for your one time free consultation. Have your card # and expiration date of your card handy, you will be asked. Don't hesitate about any malady, big or small. A few years ago your Club president had by pass heart sugery. Recently I had some concerns about some sensations in the chest. I spoke to a cardiologist for a good half hour and he provided some sound advice and provided mental comfort. I was more than pleased. Don't call about romantic heart ache, they can't help you there.

The Chapala program is efficient and inexpensive, Having it could save a life!

Here's procedure: Emergency:   1) Patient calls Chapala's toll free number 01-800-837-3986 and they will manage the emergency right then and there within the limits of telemedicine.   2) After the emergency Chapala can verify that the patient is a member of VIP San Miguel and then collect their info for membership   Non-Emergency Consultations:    1) Patient calls toll free number 01-800-837-3986 and sets up a convenient time for the doctor to call. Chapala schedules the appointment and at the same time verify membership. Doctor calls back at scheduled time.

Here is the attachment about Chapala's services.
