I AM MY OWN WIFE the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning play by Doug Wright is back in San Miguel by Popular Demand! Jordan's performance played to sold out houses in San Miguel, last February.

This is a limited engagement remount of a unique play. The production will be presented salon style - an intimate, one-of-a-kind theater experience within the cozy surroundings of FINCA Y FABRICA, Plaza Pueblito, Stirling Dickinson #28, Centro . There is free parking and taxis are familiar with Plaza Pueblito.

There will be a special service and dedication of a memorial plaque honoring all those who have worn their nation's uniforms during times of conflict, Tuesday, November 11th at 10:30 am. St. Paul's, Calzada del Cardo #6. The significant of the date coincides with Armistice Day, November 11th, 1918, commemorating the end of WW1. This honorable effort has been spearheaded by VIP club member and sanmiguelenses, Mike Amici and Paul Dickson, Mike a U.S. Navy veteran and Paul a Vietnam war veteran who served in the Australian forces. Thank you Paul for your dedication toward fellow vets. WE failed to mention in our last post that donations helping with the cost would be appreciated collected at La Conexion, Aldama #3. Your VIP Club welcomes Hecho Con Amor (catering) Service offering private dinners in homes for $300 pesos per person. Menus include a starter (an appetizer or soup or salad) a main course and dessert. The price includes the cost of the food as well as services for shopping, food preparation, table service and clean up. All menus are personalized and there is a wide variety of international cuisine available including Mexican, American comfort food, Italian, Mediterranean and Asian fusion. VIP members a 10% discount on parties of 6 or more. Hecho also offers catering services and tap parties. Prices vary based on the menu yet Hecho will offer 15% off the menu price for holiday parties for 10 people or more between now and the end of the year. VIP Club's La Mesa Grande, Pila Seca y Zacateros, wants to remind members their tasty, full-on breakfasts, along with freshly baked goods, are served until 1 pm. Monday through Saturday. Dinner hours have been expanded to 10 pm. Thursday through Saturday with live music, 8 - 9 pm., Thursdays. Full bar including Mexican craft beers. With the cooler weather, soups, quiches and Chilean empanadas have been added along with soup/sandwich/salad/quiche combos throughout the day for $85 pesos! Soon to be a new menu format and new sandwiches. With the new smoker there will be plenty of new and delicious meats involved!

Some new weekly specials are now part of their diverse menu. Provecho lovers will be glad to know about their now extended hours: Thursdays y Fridays: 12:30-8:00 pm,, Saturdays y Sundays: 11:30-8:00. pm.Breakfast on weekends. Now taking Thanksgiving reservations for a 2:00 pm. seating, Thursday November.27th. Roasted, brined turkey, mushroom sausage stuffing, sweet potatoes( chipotle and pecan crunch), mashed potatoes, loads of luscious gravy, cranberry-orange relish, not your traditional green bean casserole, and pecan pie, or pumpkin. $400.00 pesos per person, 2 for 1 drinks. Long time VIP Club participating restaurant El Tomato, Mesones #62 has changed their name to Buenos Aires Bistro. Owner/operator and chief chef, Mariano, some time back gradually parlayed the popular vegetarian and health themed restaurant into a full-fledged Argentine style restaurant with great cuts of meats with other South American specialties yet he maintained the name familiar to locals. Mariano sensed it was time to name the Bistro for what it is all about. As usual, members an take 10% off when paying cash or credit card.

Another exciting theatrical production is also on the horizon presented by the San Miguel Theater Company, directed by VIP Club member Jim Newell. The presentation, "Broadway Babes" features six actors belting out 20 show tunes. (See details on attachment)

Century 21's Charming Real Estate office has moved to Mesones #57.

We do know VIP Club participating Pizza Pig is moving but as of the moment we don't have the new location. Pizza Pig! Pizza Pig! Pizza Pig! Pizza Pig! Pizza Pig!
