Hortus

Hortus is a stylish Mediterranean-inspired restaurant tucked into the heart of the Centro Histórico, right beside the Jardín and the Parroquia. Its design blends organic curves, natural materials (especially wood), soft textiles, and decor by local artisans to create a warm, elegant space that still feels inviting. On the menu you’ll find a fresh take on Mediterranean cuisine with waves of Franco-Italian influence and a focus on wheat-based dishes, seafood, and elevated flavors that harmonize with the ambiance. It’s part of the Levain & Co group (which also includes Cumpanio and the four Panio stores), and one of its goals is to reconnect the central plaza area with culinary experiences for locals rather than just tourists.
