Sazón is the Casa de Sierra Nevada’s renowned culinary school, located in an 18th‑century mansion and beautifully restored with traditional talavera, handcrafted ceramics, and artisanal décor. Led by Chef Rubén Yáñez, the school offers immersive hands‑on Mexican cooking classes, each beginning with a guided visit to the vibrant local market to select fresh ingredients. Participants then learn to prepare classic regional dishes, including everything from pozole rojo and cochinita pibil to seasonal specialties, before enjoying their creations around a communal table.
Three-hour classes are available twice daily at 11am or 3pm
