How long is a VIP Club membership good for?
A VIP Club membership is valid for one full year from the date of activation.
VIP Club now uses permanent membership cards with QR code verification, so members keep the same card and renew their membership each year.
How many restaurants and businesses offer VIP Club discounts?
VIP Club members receive discounts at 150+ restaurants and 100+ other local businesses and services in San Miguel de Allende. Participating businesses include restaurants, cafés, spas, shops, galleries, hotels, activities, home and garden services, health and wellness providers, and more.

How do I know which businesses accept the VIP Club card?
You can view participating businesses anytime at vipsanmiguel.com. The website includes listings, categories, discount details, and a map to help you find nearby VIP Club partners. Restaurants and other businesses also display a sticker with the VIP Logo, your beacon for savings
What happens if my membership card is lost or stolen?
As part of the transition to permanent VIP Club membership cards, each active member is entitled to one complimentary replacement card if their card is lost or stolen.
If a replacement card is requested a second time or more, an administrative fee of $200 MXN per card will apply. This fee covers printing and production of the new card, cancellation and deactivation of the previous card, and updates to the membership verification system.
If your card has been lost or stolen, please notify VIP Club as soon as possible so the card can be deactivated and a replacement can be issued.

Can I use my VIP Club discount with cash or credit card?
Discounts vary by participating business. Some businesses offer a higher discount for cash payments, while others offer discounts for both cash and credit card payments. When viewing the map page the locations in orange offer cash and credit discounts. Those in blue offer just cash discounts. Please check the individual business listing on vipsanmiguel.com for current discount details.
Do I need to show my VIP Club card to receive the discount?
Yes. Members should present their active VIP Club card before paying. Participating businesses may scan the QR code on the card to verify that the membership is active.
Are discounts always available?
Discounts are offered by participating businesses and may vary by location, payment method, day, special event, or promotion. Some restrictions may apply.
Discounts do not apply for happy hour specials, cover charges, all you can eat buffets (except for Toro Rojo and Zeferino), merchandise such as T-shirts, cigarettes/cigars, or special menus. The discount is basically valid for food and drink listed on the menu. Some establishments have minimums and others only offer the discount to members for cash sales.
