WHS applies the four learning modalities of hearing, speaking, writing and reading Spanish, including the WHS materials. We are proud of our team of Maestras with some teachers who’ve been with WHS for over 25 years. Along with our foundation courses of the Levels 1, 2 and 3 we will also be offering our two skill development courses.
Communication Skills is a popular course for those who don’t have the time to take a full course. Prerequisite is the Level 1 Power verbs course or having a bit of Spanish already. Level 1 and Communication Skills can be taken concurrently. Communication Skills meet on M & W from 1:00 – 2:30 pm.
Within this interactive course we work on pronunciation, learn how to introduce yourself, spell your name, give your address and phone number, make a doctor’s appointment, order a taxi, take a bus, shop in the markets, learn Mexican foods, how to order in a restaurant and much more! It’s a very fun course with little homework. Casi no hay tarea!
The Storytelling course is the bridge between Levels 2 and 3. We learn the imperfect and how to use it alone and along with the preterit through telling stories about our lives. Fact or Fiction! Half of the class is structure and grammar as we learn the imperfect, and the other half is through Storytelling.This course meets MWF from 9:30-12:30. We take only 8 students in this course. I have a few places left in both Storytelling courses. Remember that WHS offers a VIP Club Member 10% discount off the tuition and course materials.

The BajioGo 15th Year Anniversary, 2 X 1 airport-shuttles, one-day sale created a record turnout with hundreds of cardholders showing! The day was a huge success. BajioGo sincerely thank all cardholders who participated.
It was member, Linda Desbiens, whose entry for the grand prize was drawn at the end of the day for the complimentary week at Bahia de la Luna beach side resort.
